That's one of the reasons I've fallen in love with a simple, lifestyle-inspired approach to newborn photography. My Black Mountain studio is fully prepared before you arrive. The lighting is perfect regardless of the weather outside, the space is warm and cozy for baby, and I've thoughtfully stocked a collection of wraps, blankets, bonnets, headbands, and simple accessories for you to choose from.

All you really need to bring is your baby—and maybe a little extra milk.

Everything else has already been taken care of.

One of the biggest concerns parents have before their newborn session is whether their baby will cooperate.

The truth is—they don't have to.

Every newborn session is completely baby-led.

If your baby needs to eat, we pause.

If they need cuddles, we cuddle.

If they need a diaper change, we take our time.

There is never any pressure to rush through the session. Some babies sleep the entire time, while others spend much of the session wide awake. Both are beautiful, and both tell the story of your baby exactly as they are during these first precious days.
